Below is a website-ready Payment Policy for EscrowCryptoGroup. Replace any bracketed placeholders with your details prior to publishing.
1. Payment Overview
All payments on EscrowCryptoGroup are processed through our smart-contract escrow engine to guarantee neutral custody and automated release upon fulfilment of agreed terms.
2. Supported Currencies
We accept the following cryptocurrencies:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- USD Coin (USDC)
- Tether (USDT)
- Additional tokens may be added; for the latest list, see our dashboard.
3. Deposit Execution
- Upon agreement of transaction terms, the payer initiates a deposit by transferring funds to the escrow smart contract.
- The contract locks funds immediately and emits an on-chain confirmation to both parties.
4. Fee Structure
- Service Fee: A flat 0.5% of the transaction amount, charged to the payer at deposit.
- Network Fees: All blockchain (miner/gas) fees are borne by the payer.
- Fees are deducted automatically from the escrowed funds and itemized in your settlement statement.
5. Exchange Rate Determination
- Fiat-crypto conversions use the midpoint rate from three reputable aggregators at the time of deposit.
- Rates are locked for 15 minutes; if a transaction is not confirmed within this window, the rate will be refreshed.
6. Refund & Cancellation
- Mutual Cancellation: If both parties agree before release, funds are returned in full (minus network fees).
- Timeout Refund: Unreleased funds after the agreed escrow period are refunded automatically to the payer, less network fees.
- Disputed Transactions: Funds remain locked until dispute resolution concludes; refunds follow the final decision.
7. Hold & Dispute Mechanism
- Any party may flag a payment for review within 14 days of deposit.
- During review, funds are frozen and neither released nor refunded until a resolution is reached.
- Our arbitrators follow the original smart-contract terms and any off-chain evidence submitted.
8. Security & Settlement
- All deposits and releases are executed on-chain via audited smart contracts to prevent unauthorized access.
- Settlement statements, including transaction hashes and fee breakdowns, are available for download after each release or refund.
9. Reporting & Invoicing
- Automated invoices are generated at deposit, release, and refund events and sent to registered email addresses.
- Corporate users may integrate our webhook API for real-time payment notifications and reconciliation.
10. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Payment Policy with 30 days' notice. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
